4 examples of how Renaissance events shaped US social, cultural, and political life?

My essay paper asks to define and explain the areas of social change brought on by the European Renaissance, which I have already written. It then asks to list atleast 2 US social, cultural, and political institutions which continue to be affected by the events of the Renaissance and to explain how the events continue to affect the institutions selected. This part I have done, but I’m still revising. But the last part asks to explain at least 4 specific examples of how Renaissance events shaped US social, cultural, and political life. Now, here’s my dilemma. For the second part, I listed about gunpowder and submarines for the military advancements, the golden ratio and linear perspective for art and architecture and the printing press for producing newspapers, books, novels, etc to provide us with news and entertainment. Should these be used for the four specific examples or am I missing something? If you have any weblinks or resources I could find online, please help. I’ve been working on this essay forever and I would like to get it completed once and for all. I also need to put banks in there. I’m not asking anyone to do my essay, just looking for resources.
